Week 27, Day 6 – Marathon Training

Goal = 10 miles
Result = 10.02 miles (1431 Calories, 12’44″ pace)

So today was my last “long run” before the marathon. It felt pretty good overall, but I did have some odd twinges and pains. Hopefully that’s just a minor holdover from all my traveling this last month and isn’t a sign of some major injury in the making.
This last month has been so busy I haven’t had much time to post my runs up as blog posts or even sync them up online. :/ Oh well, doesn’t matter now.
I’m frantically going over my checklist of things to have done by Friday morning when I leave for Chicago. I know I’m going to forget something. It always happens when I travel. To try to prevent this, I’m going to be packing my car bit by bit in advance and may overpack just so I don’t forget anything. lol
Between now and then, I plan on posting up my soundtrack that I’ve compiled on my iPod for the marathon. It’s rather long as I’m attempting to get at least 6 hours of music on there just in case it actually takes me that long to finish. I’ll also post up my race-day info in case anyone wants to know. :p
